Pard is very pretty leopard. He has a full mane and tail. We rescued him for a situation where he was treated like a dog. He was allowed to bite, and was generally treated like a cat or dog. He was let loosed in the yard (no fence) to do as he pleased, and when he pleased. If he didn't feel like being caught, he didn't get caught. He hadn't been ridden or his feet trimmed in three years. When we first got on him he was rusty, but did sidepass, do a diagonal, and semi-neck reined. We hauled him home in a stock trailer and he rode well. Since bringing him home we have re-established that he is in fact a horse. His ground manners have greatly improved. He does do better with men. Since I bought him for myself, I have found that I can't ride him. He is an extremely dominant horse both with horses and tests people. My husband rides him and does fairly well. We have only had him since last September. The hubby thinks he would make a great feedlot horse. He knows his stuff, he is just not the happy go lucky horse I am looking for, and needs tunning up. We would consider a trade for one of those happy go lucky horses who is broke for a beginning rider.

This horse was either a show, or cattle horse. We are still trying to tune him up from being treated like a dog for the past three years.
